The card is made with advanced double-membrane technique and based on amine test which responds in bacterial vaginosis specifically. Amine as a pathogenic factor exists in secretion of bacterial vaginosis.

During testing, the specimen react with extraction solution, then added to the sample well (S), the amine signal will be amplified progressively through the membrane, if there are sufficient amines in the specimen, the blue purple band will form at the Test well( T). The presence of this colored band indicates a positive result, while its absence or presence of yellow green band indicates a negative result. The operation of this card is very simple which can be done in one step and without any special apparatus.
